Skiff Grab Bar
Aluminum skiff grab bars with optional electronics box for switch panels and GPS mounts. Customize by choosing your size, configuration, and add-ons below.
Dimensions:
Skiff grab bars are made from 1″ sch 40 pipe. The standard grab bar dimensions are 12″ wide by 36″ tall measured on the pipe centers.
The option with 2 forward legs will be 36″ tall and 18″ wide x 18″ long with room for a small cooler (about 16.5″ between the legs).
All dimensions are nominal from the pipe and mounting pad centers.
Finish:
Available in bare mill finish or powdercoated white or black.
Note: powdercoating will add 1-2 weeks to leadtime.
Electronics Box:
Add a 4″x4″ electronics box to your grab bar. The bottom of the box is removable for electrical rigging and a watertight bulkhead connector is provided for the wiring to exit the side of the E-box.
Cutouts for rocker switch installation can be made for easy installation. Include instructions below custom cutouts and templating for GPS installation.
Rod Holders and Cupholders:
Optional rod holders for the side of the grab bar. Put it in your order notes where you want these, otherwise the rod holder will go in the lower port side and cupholder on upper starboard side facing driver.
Rod holders can be the standard flared style with liners or slotted spinning rod holders with liners.
Forward Legs:
We can install forward legs on your grab bar. The forward legs are a nice place to strap down a cooler or small jump seat and add stability to the installation.
The single leg option will have 1 additional leg and use the same width 12″ grab bar without legs.
The double leg option will have 2 legs and the grab bar will be widened to 18″ on pipe center to accommodate a normal 40-60 qt cooler.
Customization Requests:
We can accommodate reasonable customization requests such as small changes in dimensions, CNC cutouts, and arrangements of the add-ons.
