Simple Aluminum Hatch Lid or Tray

We are selling our CNC cut and formed hatch lids. You can use them for your custom hatch project or use them as a basic tray.

Details:

  • 1/8″ 5052 aluminum construction.
  • Choose the outside length, width, and flange depth of the hatch.
  • Choose to include a cutout for a latch.
  • Choose to include a welded channel stiffener.
  • 100% tig welded inside and out.
  • Input the same dimensions as your hatch order and we will weld them together.

Finish *

Choose bare aluminum or powder coating. Note: Powder coating adds 1-2 weeks to leadtime.

Flange Depth *

Choose flange depth. Minimum 1″ and maximum 2″

Choose cutouts. Type your cutout dimensions and location in your order notes.

Stiffener *

The stiffener is a 2×1 channel with sniped ends. A stiffener is recommended for hatches that will be walked upon or greater than 24″ long. Typically welded within 2″ of flange and in direction of longest edge.
