Neoprene Rubber Mounting Strips

Use these 2″x1/4″ closed cell neoprene rubber strips to insulate your tank and space it from adjacent surfaces.

Specifications:

• Dimensions: 2″ wide x 1/4″ thick, length varies
• Hardness: 60A (medium-hard)

Installation Tips:

• Use a thick, continuous layer of medium strength polyurethane adhesive on the tank surface and neoprene surface, and apply even pressure during curing.
• Scuff the aluminum and the rubber for better bonding.
• Apply masking tape to the tank surface for clean application.
• The goal is to create a continuous, complete seal so that no water may enter the faying surface between the aluminum and the rubber.
