CNC Routers

Our CNC routers machine aluminum, plastics and foam with accuracy and speed.

High Volume Production

With two 60″x144″ large format CNC routers, we specialize in high volume production of precise aluminum sheet and light plate parts.

High volume small parts as well as large fuel tank parts are machined in house.

Accuracy

CNC router parts are precise to ±0.005″ tolerances with clean edges ready to weld.

3D Flexibility

Unlike 2-axis cutting (plasma, waterjet, lasers), CNC routers machine in 3 dimensions like a milling machine. This means your parts can have machined features such as shallow pockets, logo and part marking engraving, bevels and chamfers, and complex 3D surfaces.

CNC Machining


Materials

We typically machine marine grade and aerospace materials such as 6061 aluminum and 316 stainless steel.

High Accuracy

CNC machined parts are precise to ±0.001″.

4D Flexibility

Our CNC mill can machine in 4 dimensions with a rotary axis, allowing us to machine more complex features or create high density work-holding solutions.

Our CNC lathe with a Y-axis and live tooling allows milling, drilling, and tapping off-center and perpendicular to the turning axis.

CNC Press Brake Forming


Materials & Capacity

We are tooled for forming high-strength aluminum alloys and stainless steel from 1/16″ to 1/2″ and heavier stainless. These materials require a more generous bend radius than typical sheet metal to avoid cracking and excessive stress.

Our CNC press brakes can bend parts up to 144″ long and 1/2″ thick.

High Accuracy

CNC formed parts are accurate to ±0.03″ and ±0.5°. This accuracy is key to perfect fit-ups and final product accuracy for weldments such as fuel tanks.

CNC Flexibility

With advanced CNC controllers and 8 controlled axis to work with, we can form complex parts or large radius multi-step “bump” forming.

Pipe Forming and Fabrication

Bending and Rolling Pipes and Extrusions

We are tooled for pipe forming high-strength aluminum alloys and stainless steel. These materials require a more generous bend radius than typical sheet metal to avoid cracking and excessive stress.

Our equipment can bend and roll pipes and extrusions from as small as 1/4″ Sch 40 up to 2″ Sch 40.

High Accuracy and Rapid Production

While most custom pipe projects are one-offs, our programmable pipe bender with 2-axis positioner is perfect for high production formed pipe and tube parts. If your project includes formed pipe, the cost per part quickly drops as the quantity increases.

Perfect Finishes

Our centerless pipe sanding machine polishes parts with an attractive brushed finish.

Welding


GTAW Welding

We specialize in precision TIG welding of marine and aerospace aluminum alloys and stainless steel.

GMAW Welding

For higher rates of production, we also employ the finest pulsed MIG equipment.

Qualified

Our procedures and welders are qualified to AWS D1.2 for aluminum welding. If your project requires additional procedures or documentation, we can facilitate that process for you.

Powder Coating

Durable color coatings for marine environments are available on all of our products and custom projects.

Anodizing

For production parts with enough, anodizing is available for improved appearance and corrosion control.

Most marine pipe products are also available in brite dip anodized finishes.
