Shallow Water Anchor Bracket – Jack Plate Mount (Atlas and Bob’s Machine)

Heavy duty TIG welded aluminum brackets for guiding your cajun anchor (aka shallow water anchor) pole. 

Shallow water anchors are a simple and inexpensive way to hold your boat in a shallow water fishing spot. Our brackets are fully customizable to accept any diameter anchor pin on the market.

Our unique brackets provide a vertical guide for the poles for easy deployment and retrieval. This bracket installs on the side of an Atlas jack plate (and some other brands) with existing accessory mounting holes.

Standard Dimensions:

• Guide Pipe: 8″ long
• Mounting holes: 1/2″ holes x 6.5″ spacing.
  • Most Atlas and Bob’s jack plates have 2 holes on the side. Double check your jack plate before ordering. We can customize the mounting holes if your jack plate is different.
• The guide pole is tilted 10 degrees towards the transom so it sits vertically on most raked transoms.
  • We can customize this angle if you have a flat transom or extreme rake.
• Machined Delrin barrel liner bushings for the top and bottom of guide pipe are included.
• Includes fastener kit (316SS 1/2-13 bolts, nuts, and washers)

Setback and Clearances

• The outside of the guide pipe lands about 7″ left/right and 3″ aft. This varies some depending on guide pipe size and single or double barrel configuration.
• Customize: if you need to meet certain clearances for ladders, transducers, etc., just put that information in your order notes when you check out and we will customize a bracket for you.

Options:

• Choose port, starboard, or a matching pair.
• Regular 1″ guide pipe with .80″ bushing for 3/4″ anchors
• Large 1-1/4″guide pipe with 1.05″ bushing for 1″ anchors
• Extra large 1-1/2″ guide pipe with 1.35″ bushing for 1″ sch 40 pipe push poles and spud poles.
• Double-barrel w/ 1 closed end pipe for holstering.
